600 gr cooked black beans

1 red bell pepper

2 garlic cloves

1 small red onion

1 egg

30 gr breadcrumbs

2 gr ground cumin

1 gr chili powder

2 gr smoked paprika

Salt and pepper (to taste)

Extra virgin olive oil

4 hamburger buns

4 lettuce leaves

2 tomatoes

4 slices cheddar cheese

Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

21 ounces cooked black beans

1 red bell pepper

2 garlic cloves

1 small red onion

1 egg

¼ cup breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper (to taste)

Extra virgin olive oil

4 hamburger buns

4 lettuce leaves

2 tomatoes

4 slices cheddar cheese

Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

  • Step 1. Mash the black beans roughly

Lightly mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher, leaving some whole for added texture.

  • Step 2. Create the patties

Add finely diced bell pepper, minced onion, crushed garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, and spices. Form 4 patties, pressing them firmly. Cook in a nonstick pan with a little olive oil.  

  • Step 3. Assemble the burgers 

Toast the buns and layer the patties with lettuce, cheddar, tomato slices, and a generous drizzle of Mazzetti's Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
